Vladimir Danilin started out during the old Golden age, when the famous Moscow dance patios were still alive, and thousands of Muscovites could dance to the sounds of jazz, although he gave up the accordion for the long 30 years, having totally switched to the piano. The real success came to him in the ensemble of the trumpeter Andrei Tovmasyan, and soon Danilin put together his own trios and quartets. For three years he was the pianist of the famous Oleg Lundstrem Big band, and later on – the concert orchestra of Vladislav Kadersky. Not until 1994 did he go back to the accordion – this time, for ever.
